This new live album captures Nils Landgren’s 70th birthday celebration at the Berliner Philharmonie, conceived as a tribute to Joe Sample, his longtime idol and later collaborator.
Recorded with China Moses, Michael Wollny, Lars Danielsson, Wolfgang Haffner, Magnus Lindgren and brass players of the Berliner Philharmoniker, the concert brings together soul, jazz and songs with deep personal meaning for Nils.
